Wednesday Weigh In

I really didn't expect much from this weigh in, and I was a little anxious about it. My stress level this past week has been bonkers, and to top it off, I have this horrendous cold that prevents me from things like: breathing. I haven't been able to get in a real workout in a solid three days. That's two strikes against me for those of you keeping score at home. 


So I got on the scale this morning, fully terrified of the digital contraption that holds the power to make me cry with a single number, and held my breath. I said a five second prayer that I'm pretty sure was something similar to, "Please, please, please don't hate me today." and looked down tentatively. But instead of a horrific gain, I was shocked to see a respectable loss for the week. I stepped off the scale, stood there for a minute, and decided to chance fate and see if I got the same number again. Success!
